Before we make this official, the 
would again like to reiterate that the organization had no prior knowledge of any requests made by Mr. Cammalleri this season, to be moved. There was no correspondence from the player or his agent to this effect until the dates leading up to this season's trade deadline. This came as a complete blindside to us, as Mr. Cammalleri had been playing top line minutes with our top players.
It's unfortunate that he felt the need to put our organization in the precarious position of trying to move him within mere days of the trade deadline. As we attempted to forge out deals with other clubs, it was coming more apparent that we would not get the value that we were seeking for Mr. Cammalleri due to the nature in which the situation transpired. Most clubs were thinking we were desperate to make the move and would take any offer thrown our way... they were sadly mistaken. We will not compromise our team chemistry nor our place as a contender for one player and as such, no deal could be reached prior to the deadline that met our needs.
Therefore, after consultation with our staff, coaches and players, and finding that his attitude in the locker room has been a complete morale decrease amongst the players as of late, and, also, due to the comments made by his agent through the media that, and we quote PR: "He'll go anywhere.", this tells us that he has waived his NMC. Ergo:
The officially place LW Mike Cammalleri 87 SNP - $6.000M (UFA 2014) {NMC/NTC} on waivers. IF not claimed, ( 
yah right... lol) Mr. Cammalleri can spend the rest of the season in beautiful Abbotsford, B.C. with out minor league affiliate, the Heat, of the (AHL). He said "He'll go anywhere.", right?
The only solace I can take in this is that some bottom feeder team claims him and the player gets exactly what he deserves.

lol Cuz I'm taking this stand for all of you as well as myself. This was simply a carbon copy of what Cammelleri did to Montreal IRL and was complete, and utter, bullshit from the start! We deserve better as GMs!
Also, we in Calgary prefer to have winners on our roster as oppose to pre-madonna's who feel they're entitled, when they're already getting the "golden goose". Go anywhere you want, Mike... Godspeed...
