TO: 80 - Ryan Johansen - C - 1.945 Million 14/15 (PLY) RFA TO: C (77) Mikael Granlund PLY 0.875M (RFA 2013) 2012 2nd 2012 3rd 2013 1st Why we are doing this? We feel that Ryan has bigger upside than Granlund's raw talent, Johansen seems to be more NHL ready (in our perspective) and Jackets has pretty much went on a full on rebuild so those picks will certainly help him. Both are young centermens but we have to do whats best and find the more ready player to fit in our roster.

Err...no. This isn't even close to fair value wise, IMO Minnesota hasn't played the way where their 1st rounder in 2013 would be considered "a low pick", and there's plenty of NHL ready centers that won't cost you 3 draft picks and your best prospect.

Reject/Final. Rework it and repost it if you want to try again with something a little more even.
