Accepted. Need to dump salary to make some free agent moves. I'm deep on defense and Johnny is getting older. Brouwer gives us a good top-9 forward and we get a pick.
@prr we now ask Johnny to waive his NTC to go to Carolina.

I'm not sure why Carolina would want to do this since they already have 4 cheaper top-4 dmen. They also do not have a lot of NHL right wingers to spare. But Carolina has so much cap space I will accept since I assume they will sign some top-6 RWs.
