I accept, as per the Non-GM rep, PR said that they MacKinnon absolutely hates Boston, so why not join a team and a fan base that hates Boston as well.

accepts. Mackinnon didn't leave the Bruins much choice, and they feel that this package more then makes up for what they lost in Mackinnon. Kane is signed for a very long time, and is in his prime. The Brodizak for McMillan swap was a way to get rid of a very bad contract for the Bruins, one they instantly regretted signing. Horvat adds much needed center-depth and the Bruins will continue to improve him into a top 6 role.
Boston thanks all the offers and interest in Mackinnon, this one and another offer were the main topic of discussion for admins, but together we felt that this was the best move.
