Hello GM's.
Thank you to all that participated this year, I know it wasn't the best season but thank you to the GM's that stuck with us!
First off, I want to give a big congratulations to Kruze on his Stanley Cup win. Congrats buddy.
Secondly, a BIG thank you to Capitals for another season of simming. Great work buddy, everyone here appreciates the work you put it.
Now, the rumours are true, we are in fact rebooting for Season 17.
The Plan:
We will be switching over to NHL15 overalls and rosters. Whether we continue to sim using NHL14 or NHL15 is still to be determined. If we do continue to use NHL14 to sim, all NHL rosters will switch over to NHL15 overalls, while minor leaguers will continue to use NHL14 overalls.
Team selection has begun. To make this fair, we are doing it in 3 stages. The first 2 Stages are intended to sort out teams for our current GM's. Stage 3 will be open to new GM's. The reason for this is because we want to give the GM's that stuck with us first choice.
STAGE 1:
-Current GM's have until Friday November 14 at 11:59 PM PACIFIC to "reclaim" their current team
-OR GM's can "trade" teams with another GM. For example, if Kruze and Sensrule19 wanted to switch teams, they could do that.
-During Step 1, GM's MAY NOT choose to switch to a team without a GM. So for example, if I wanted to switch to Pittsburgh (which is currently GM-less) I can not do that right now.
-To reclaim your team or trade teams, post here:

Just post something like, "Reclaiming Sharks" or if you're trading, "Me and Kruze are switching teams"
If you do not reclaim your team by the deadline, your team will be opened up.
If you are looking to switch to a team that is open, you can reclaim your current team, then switch later on in STAGE 2.
STAGE 2:
-All unclaimed teams will be open.
-Current GM's may switch to any open team. For example, if Kruze reclaimed the Oilers in Stage 1, but in Stage 2 he saw that the Blackhawks opened up, he can switch to Blackhawks if he wanted to.
-Open teams will come at first come first serve basis.
-Stage 2 will be open after Stage 1 is completed and I have posted the updated Team List
Stage 2 deadline will be Sunday November 16 at 11:59 PM PACIFIC
The first 2 Stages are only open to Current GM's. If you name is on the REBOOT TEAM LIST, the first 2 stages are intended for you, our most loyal GM's.
New GM's must wait until Stage 3.
STAGE 3:
-This stage will occur when Capitals is finished or close to updating his game. Realistically we will be shutting down the league for about a week or 2 weeks after stage 2 to set up rosters and allow Caps to update.
-When STAGE 3 is open, new GM's will have an opportunity to choose teams.
Overview:
Stages 1 and 2 are intended to sort out teams for our current GM's. During this time there will be no activity, no trading. We will be setting up rosters and Caps will be updating his game.
Stage 3 will open when everything is set up. At this point, the activity freeze will be lifted and we will begin Season 17.
When the league is ready to go, we will e-mail everyone to let you know we are ready for business.
