The Panthers management and Jovanovski have been in much discussion lately, and the two have decided that its best if Jovanovski be released from the team. This is an up and coming squad and Jovanovski's salary is taking away a huge portion of the Panthers cap space. Jovanoski decided this is best for the team, especially since he is getting injured in his old age. As a dedicated Captain he decides to leave in attempts to help out the team.
If unclaimed, Jovanoski will enter the free agent market with the possiblity of re-signing. As GM of the Panthers we thank Jovanovski for his dedication.
