Additional information about each prospect's style/game:
1. D Amritras Singh DFD {India}
Amritras Singh is an extremely deadly man on the point. He's absolutely amazing, Singh has left all of the scout's
in awe. His speed, agility and overall skating is awesome. There is only one thing his game lacks is his disicpline.
Other than that, he is crazy good. "The Next Big Thing" is a nickname he has received by all of his scouts and peers.
His dangle's are insane and he has a wicked shot but is great at breaking up plays. At young age's he was often bullied,
and discriminated against, for having a turban. The way he escaped this horror is by hockey! He shot, worked on his
hands in his basement all day. Now, an 18 year old phenom of this season's QFTC Draftee's, he get's the last laugh over
all the bullies.
{NHL COMPARISON: ZDENO CHARA}
Last years stats: 32 goals and 83 assists for a total of 115 points!
2.RW Judd Repole PLY {Canada}
Judd Repole. This young kid has grown up in Prince Rupert B.C. and as a kid, Midget, he has received personal training
from Ryan Getzlaf and Corey Perry at a hockey school. He was always the man with the puck, quarter-backing each
play when on the ice. His passes are crisp but don't think he dosen't have an accurate shot either. His shot is great but
his passes are something more. The scout's and league runners have compared him to the likes of Sidney Crosby. His
passes are just like Crosby's and he has some great dangles, infact, his dekes and dangles are legendary. He often just
uses his amazing speed and dangles to get some quality scoring chances. Speeding past and around the unexpecting
defensemen is signature move by the young and highly skilled Judd Repole.
{NHL COMPARISON: SIDNEY CROSBY}
Last years stats: 25 goals and 71 assists for a total of 97 points!
3. C Phil Franzen TWF {Canada}
Phil Franzen, not related to aging star Johan Franzen as popular belief, is a great TWF from Ottawa, Ontario. He has
shocked the scouts after his stunning recovery season from an injured back. Don Cherry on Phil Franzen: "This kid
is great! I see him going far in the NHL, and I really hope he goes to a great team that can develop him properly."
Back in 2014, he was injured off a brutal hit from behind delivered by Right Winger Robert Warren, another draftee
this year. I see a great rivalry brewing between the 2. Then is 2015, last year's season, he exploded and has great stats,
unlike all of the predictions of all the TSN Insiders.
{NHL COMPARISON: MIKE RICHARDS}
Last years stats: 49 goals and 61 assists for a total of 110 points!
4. LW Tapio Jarvinen PLY {Finland}
Tapio, 18 years of age, has grown up in Helsinki Finland (near the arctic circle) idolizing the Finnish Flash, Teemu
Selanne. He grew up thinking that he could one day be just as his idol Teemu Selanne. The kid is, as the scouts say,
a possible soon new and improved Finnish Flash. Most guys can see what these scouts say, except Don Cherry. Of
course. Other than Cherry, he has a great fan base and is an amazing guy with a high skill set.
{NHL COMPARISON: PAVEL DATSYUK}
Last years stats: 11 goals and 64 assists for a total of 75 points!
5. RW Howard Bossy SNP {Canada}
Howard Bossy, comes from a rich neighbourhood and is an amazing prospect. He is also a right wing just as his father
Mike Bossy. His father is one of the greatest goal-scorer's of all time. His father's NHL total stats are incredible:
NHL Total's: GP: 752 G:573 A:553 P:1,126. He, Mike Bossy has trained his son, Howard, since he was 5 years of age.
Howard has the same potential and has been the highlight of the league since his entering it in 2012. Mike has
been providing his son, Howard the highest quality hockey gear, built him an backyard rink, and provided him with
all of his knowledge. Howard has been the star of his team, star of the league and star of the future. He is an amazing
shot and has been nicknamed "The Boss" and has the best accuracy and the best shot seen in WHL History.
{NHL COMPARISON: STEVEN STAMKOS}
Last years stats: 76 goals and 16 assists for a total of 92 points!
6. G Frank Slubowski {Canada}
Frank grew up playing hockey. Cousin's with another one of this years draftee's, Judd Repole, he also shares the passion
for the game as Judd. He was one of those goalies who ate, slept, breathed hockey. Hockey everyday. When Frank wasn't
playing hockey, he was at the gym or exercising, training. All of Franks friends and family told him that he would make
it to the NHL, and it seems his dream has finally came true! He has been playing for Western Michigan University for
quite some time now and has only been improving with his slick passses and magnificent saves.
{NHL COMPARISON: PATRICK ROY/HENRIK LUNDQVIST}
Last years stats: 32GP 1.88 GAA .911 SVS% playing for Western Michigan University
7. LW Niko Brolov SNP {Russia}
Niko Brolov, a young and very underated player coming from the KHL. The kid's an allstar but across sea's, they don't
treat him as such, which is ridicolous. At a young age, Brolov went to a hockey camp hosted by the one and only
Alexander Ovechkin. This camp was extremely exclusive and Ovechkin picked Brolov out of the groups of players that
applied because of his style of play was similar to his own. Since that camp, Brolov has been practicing as Ovechkin
told him he had a shot. This inspired him something fierce and once you get this kid going, you can't bring him down!
{NHL COMPARISON: ALEXANDER OVECHKIN}
Last years stats: 51 goals and 16 assists for a total of 67 points!
8. C Victor Txamsm GRN {Canada}
Victor is the 1st NHL draftee of the Nisg'aa first nations, aboriginal decent. Before there was Jonathan Cheechoo and
Jordin Tootoo of the First Nations desent in the NHL, now there is Victor Txamsm. The scout's report that he has the
ability to rough people up, fight and even score some goals in clutch moments. Most of his hits are clean and he is a
dynamic player that will stand up for whoever it is on his team. Victor isn't scared of anyone and has said: "I ain't scared
of nobody, not Chara,Weber. You name him and I'll take him on" and thats the mentality he brings to every shift.
{NHL COMPARISON: JORDIN TOOTOO}
Last years stats: 23 goals and 31 assists for a total of 54 points!
9. D Tommy London TWD {America}
Tommy London is a very good player, often underestimated but not underated. When he's on the ice, the other team
knows it. Or they will discover it, if they got their head down. He takes advantage of every player who thinks he can
either split the defense, or cut across the middle with his head down. His goalscoring ability is low, but his hands and
puck control and movement are truly something else. A true gamechanger and the type of guy who every team wants
on point defending their goalie.
{NHL COMPARISON: CHRIS PRONGER}
Last years stats: 6 goals and 44 assists for a total of 50 points!
10. C Leon Porter PLY {America}
His size at 5'10 and 175lbs does not limit this young guys ability. He's got the game on the edge of his blade at all times
and his faceoff ability is his strong suit. Last season he finished with a faceoff % of 63.15. Pretty amazing if you ask almost
everyone ever! He takes the hit often but has the guts to get up after every one. He is the only black player in this
draft other than Ciaran Dudley. His size works to his advantage when he is skating circles around the defenders, then
setting up his team mates with amazing passes. His speed, agility and accelaration are out of this work and is his weapon,
other than in the faceoff circle.
{NHL COMPARISON: MANNY MALHOLTRA}
Last years stats: 13 goals and 61 assists for a total of 74 points!
11.RW Quinton Kyng PWF {Canada}
Quinton Kyng is a player full of power, he is the hardest to knock off the puck in this draft by far. His balance is great,
as is his strength. He often goes up the boards using his strength and power to cut through defensemen. His skating is
sloppy but his hands are good. He can easily power out of the corners and across the crease. The only player in his league
that he has a problem getting around is Tommy London. A big rivalry has brewed between the 2 and it shall make for an
awesome game at NHL level. Quinton has been reported: "a splitting image of RW Jarome Iginla".
{NHL COMPARISON: JAROME IGINLA}
Last years stats: 31 goals and 21 assists for a total of 52 points!
12. D Dmitry Bogrov OFD {Russia}
Yet another russian named Dmitry has stuck out in the crowd when this seasons NHL draft came along. He is reported
having bad defense compared to his scoring ability. He usually pinching and rarely the last man back. His goalscoring
ability is enough to ensure his place in this draft but he does have a bright future. Growing up in Moscow in the deathly
cold weather, has toughened him up for sure.
{NHL COMPARISON: ERIK KARLSSON}
Last years stats: 26 goals and 21 assists for a total of 48 points!
13. D Henrik Haggstrom DFD {Sweden}
Defensemen Henrik Haggstrom (born January 1st, 1999) is a Swedish defensemen who has been compared to likes of
Duncan Keith. His play is good, and has earned him the projected 13th spot in this year's QFTC draft. Haggstrom was
on the 1st defensive pairing in the All-Star game in his respective league, and was a huge reason behind earning his
team ,Sweden, gold in the World Juniors as he scored the OT winner to win it for Sweden in 5 years. His play is
reminicient of Duncan Keith at a young age.
{NHL COMPARISON: Henrik Haggstrom}
Last seasons stats: 11 goals and 30 assists for a total of 41 points!
14.LW Harry Roberts SNP {Canada}
Harry's skills and goalscoring ability is far off of the previous SNP (Niko Brolov) but he is still one of the top players, as
only the top players are fit for Quest for the Cup. His signature goal is bringing it across the blueline and cutting across the
middle, then roofing it on the unexpecting shot. At a young age, his father told him the truth from the great mouth of
Espisito, "It's not about how hard or how accurate you're shot is, it's about how hard you can get it off". Harry took that
phrase personal and every game, the unexpected goalie is often at loss when Roberts comes across the blue-line. His shot
isn't powerful at all, his accuracy is reasonable but his realease is amazing. He will get that shot off faster than you can
blink you're eye.
{NHL COMPARISON: ALEXANDER OVECHKIN}
Last seasons stats: 40 goals and 11 assists for a total of 51 points!
15. RW Aaron Roubicek TWF {Czech}
Aaron Roubicek has always been the type of kid who is just naturally good at the game of hockey. His dangles are his
strong suit as is his ability to confuse the defender. He often pulls it between the defender's legs several times before
skating off, leaving the defender not knowing where he is, until the red light goes off. His skating is alright and on the
defensive side of the ice, he a great. His goalscoring ability is shit but his passes makes up for it. His idol, Jaromir Jagr has
even taken notice of his dangles in the offensive zone, saying: "The kid has potential. I like his style of play, I just wish
he had a better shot".
{NHL COMPARISON: JAROMIR JAGR/PAVEL DATSYUK}
Last years stats: 4 goals and 49 assists for a total of 53 points!
16.LW Bryan Gilbert GRN {Canada}
Often thought of a distant relative of the defensemen known as Tom Gilbert but is false, no relation. Bryan is 100%
Canadian and acts and plays as such. His hits are massive and shocking as he is only 5'11 and 195lbs. His heart is 1000x
the size of his body and he plays as hard as any coach can ask for every single shift. Growing up was a challenge for
Bryan and his inspirational story has inspired many as the news of him making the draft for the QFTC spread. He grew
up with only 1 parent, his mother died when Bryan was only 2 in a fire, and they were on the poor side. Barely making it
by as his dad was a trapper. Living paycheck to paycheck was the lifestyle Bryan grew up with. Barely affording to enrole
him in hockey, and being in hockey was all Bryan could ask for. And because he realized how much of a struggle it was
to enrole him in the game, he played his heart out and trained whenever was possible. The scouts have realized that is
his game and his life. He dosen't score often but when he does, he acts accordingly, not extreme celebrations or taunting
of the other team. Even though he is a grinder and a toughguy style of play, his hits are never late or illegal. He brings
a level of respect to the GRN player type that has never been heard of before.
{NHL COMPARISON: NO ONE QUITE LIKE HIM}
Last years stats: 9 goals and 31 for a total of 40 points!
17. C Ryan Douglas SNP {America}
Ryan Douglas is a man that does one thing. Score. Every time he is on the ice he is hungry the puck. Ryan is the type of
guy that you can rely on to take that puck up and score. If you’re down by a goal, he is the guy the coach looks at.
He often has a love hate relationship with his coachs. No coach likes a poor sport who dosen't pass but you can hate
a pure goalscorer like him. He has high endurance and is great at staying out the whole powerplay or until the job is done.
One thing though, he dislikes passing. He is one of the worst puck hogs in WHL history, but one of the best goal
scorers out there. He thinks he is better than everyone else, another downfall to this gifted individual.
{NHL COMPARISON: ILYA KOVALCHUK}
Last years stats: 35 goals and 6 assists (all rebounds) for a total of 41 points!
18. LW Tyler Duffy PLY {Ireland}
Tyler Duffy is often frowned upon via his tiny size and small stature. He is very fast and very agile. Tyler is a great skater,
way better than his attributes are for his shot. His hands are crispy but gets hit very often. This kid dosen't open keep his
head down, but it seems every single time he does, he pays for it. After being injured a couple of seasons ago, it was thought
that he wouldn't make it due to the sevarity of his injury but he proved all wrong and look where he is today. He is the 18th
overall pick and has a ton going for him. His defensive awareness, lacks a ton. His passes are alright but his shot is worse.
His goalscoring is unlikely but his skating is good. He often barely dekes past as he is often the marked man of the team.
{NHL COMPARISON: MARTIN ST. LOUIS}
Last years stats: 11 goals and 31 assists for a total of 42 points!
19. D Igor Federov DFD {Russia}
Igor is a guy that is always open on the point. You can rely that he will be there at the right moment to pass. Along side
with that, Igor has a beautiful slap shot. Yes another drafty who grew up in Moscow, Russia. At an early age Igor grew up
watching his dad playing in the arena. Whenever possible Igor was he at the rink observing other peoples playing style.
When his dad had to quit hockey due to injury Igor knew it was his time to shine. He knew how much it would mean to
his dad if he made it to the big league’s. He practiced everyday determined that he would make to the NHL. Now Igor is
in the Quest For The Cup Season 7 Draft and is very excited to see what lies ahead in his young career.
{NHL COMPARISON: BRENT SEABROOK}
Last years stats: 15 goals and 27 assists for a total of 42 points!
20. Jakub Skiburg {Sweden}
Jakub was a goaltender that dominated in the Swiss league. His specialties are shootouts and breakaways. He performs
better while under pressure. He is very skilled but with his height the top shelf is the most open. He was brutally beaten
one day when he was young lad walking home, due to his parent’s inability to pay the loan shark. From that moment on
he was timid. But now Jakub is in the Quest for the Cup Season 7 Draft.
{NHL COMPARISON: CORY SCHNEIDER}
Last year he finished with 2.72 GAA and the save percentage of .875.
21. RW Jaromir Blazek SNP {Czech}
Jaromir is perfect asset for a team that wants to win. He is a pure goal scorer, and has no virtual flaws. He can somehow
make a play from anywhere on the ice. He revolutionized the bar down shot, by hitting it from almost impossible angles.
He was overall, the best player in the CHL. His last name is awesome so is his play's and whoever drafts him should feel
awesome.
{NHL COMPARISON: PATRICK KANE}
He finished the season with 36 goals, 27 assists and 63 points.
22. D Tyson Hunter DFD {Canada}
Tyson's last name is ironic, because whenever he isn't either playing or training for hockey, he is somewhere in the outdoors
he loves to hunt, fish and camp. He has been toughened up by Mother Nature and brings a vengance to his game. Another
guy who brings a level of passion and dedication that is amazing. Simply great. He is a huge stay at home defenseman.
When it seems he has a break, Tyson is always there, he is rarely pinching and is every goaltenders dream defenseman.
His coach loves having him on the ice as well since his shot is reasonable but his ability to break up plays is amazing.
His huge body gets thrown often but only in the right times. Truly great player is Tyson Hunter.
{NHL COMPARISON: NOT SURE}
Last years stats: 6 goals and 27 assists for a total of 33 points!
23. D Aman Gill {Canada/India}
Aman Gill, the brother of Karan Gill from the Chicago Blackhawks, has come out of nowhere. Him and his older brother used to always play together and train together. Aman has more passion and drive than his older brother but lacks skill. Growing up, whenever he wasn't watching or playing ice, street or indoor hockey, he was watching videos on how to improve his game or taping his stick. He has all of the best gear and has often competed with his older brother. Aman's game is pretty reasonable for the level he's at. He has a wicked shot and wicked hands, but he lacks in positioning and a little on the defensive side of the game. He is great and is probably taping his stick currently. Watch for this young superstar to rise in the ranks of this years draft.
{NHL COMPARISON: Alexander Pietrangelo}
Last years stats: 19 goals and 19 assists for 38 points!
24. G Ciaran Dudley {Central Africa}
Ciaran came from a radical location for an NHL player. Central Africa. One of the poorest places in the world, and he lived
there until he was the ripe age of 9. From there he moved to Chicago. Then his parent's couldn't find the right job, so he
once again moved, to Toronto, Ontario of Canada. From there, he decided to be enrolled in hockey, and he found a great
passion for it. His playing style and abilities was observed by the great Don Cherry whilst playing in a Midget Rep game.
Cherry knew after watching a few games that he was gonna be something. Ciaran didn't realize what this meant since he
was an imigrant. Cherry contacted the NHL about it and a pro scout was on the job. He watched every game and here he is
today. Ciaran has been officially nominated for the QTFC draft. He is pretty much the ugliest man in NHL history if he is to
be drafted but notheless, he shall be in the NHL!
{NHL COMPARISON: RAY EMERY/MARTY TURCO}
25. RW Justin Kesler TWF {America}
Justin Kesler, C of the Toronto Maple Leafs Ryan Kesler's nephew, is a pretty well balanced player. He has been nominated
the best defensive forward of the CHL for 3 seasons in a row now, and he is projected to be the future best defensive forward
in the QFTC in a few seasons. His defensive game is a tad better than his forward game but both are exceptional. He has
been in close contact with his uncle Ryan for as long as he can remember and he has been receiving training and special
guidance from him. Ryan has been the main focus of his uncle and Ryan has been funding his dreams for many years now.
Justin grew up with the best gear and everything he could have to improve his game. He has been on several winning teams
and received many rewards for his good play and sportsmanship.
{NHL COMPARISON: RYAN KESLER}
Last years stats: 21 goals and 21 assists for a total of 42 points.
26.D Greg Loroff OFD {Canada}
Greg Loroff grew up at school as "that awkward guy". He wasn't bullied or anything but he didn't have a ton of friends.
His play is better than you'd think of a guy of that type. It's really something to watch the kid play, he makes crisp passes,
long lead, breakaway, D-D and nice breakout passes. He is more of a forward defensemen but his ability to break up plays
is excellent. He has earned the nickname "The Cannon" for his rocket of a shot from the point. This is the type of guy you'd
want on the point, you know the Erik Karlsson and the Kris Letang style player. Wonderful player yet his skating abilites
is where his game lacks. He often looses edges and falls down often during games, at horrible points too. Giving up 2-1's
and breakaways and what not.
{NHL COMPARISON: KRIS LETANG/ERIK KARLSSON}
Last years stats: 9 goals and 31 goals for a total of 40 points!
27. RW Robert Warren TGH {Germany}
Robert is a devastating and dirt nasty player. His hits are often dirty and after his hit on this years projected 3rd overall
pick, Phil Franzen, a ton of respect has been lost for Robert by everyone in the hockey community. His goals are far from
none, making Scott Gomez look like Stamkos. His physicality and intensity is also a good thing to have on the team.
Robert gets under guy's skin and often makes them look bad when they think their tough. He is a pure tough guy, often
fighting and destroying the other team. He is smart as to when and who to aggitate. A Bobby Clarke style player, without
the point producing ability.
{NHL COMPARISON: GEORGE PARROS/SEAN AVERY}
Last years stats: 1 goal and 6 assists for a total of 7 points.
28. D Ken Turner TWD {Canada}
Ken Turner was ambitious growing up. He had big dreams in the field of science and accounting. But he never would have
guessed that he would make it to the NHL. His dreams are somewhat coming true because his dream was to be someone
in life, someone that people would remember. He realizes that it is a dream come true and for that, Ken practices everyday
with an intensity that is far from hard. He plays his heart out and is a great guy to have in front of you're goaltender. He
breaks up plays and scores some big goals as well as throws his body when necassary.
{NHL COMPARISON: DION PHANEUF}
Last years stats: 11 goals and 31 assists for a total of 42 points!
29. RW Joseph Shaw PWF {Canada}
The hugest guy on this years list of the brightest. 5'8 and 230 pounds. Simply awesome.
No NHL comparison.
No records of previous statistics.
30. G Kenzie Scorch {Canada}
Kenzie Scorch barely squeezed into this years draft. The final goalie pick but the kid has a bright looking future. He is a
great goalie with a very bright future. His vision is awesome and it takes a man of Andre the Giants stature to be able to
successfully screen him. His major flaw is breakaways I'm afraid. Almost every single breakaway is in but when they are set
up in his zone, the kids a brick wall.
{NHL COMPARISON: MIIKKA KIPRUSOFF}
31. C Austin Weir PWF {Canada}
Austin Weir, grew up Judd Repole's best friend almost his entire life. Austin is more of the goalscorer and enforcer than
Judd but the 2 have wonderful chemistry. They meet in Grade 1 and have been best friends ever since. Austin has been also
compared to Jarome Iginla and has great core strength. He is very hard to knock off the puck and has awesome hands.
His shot is pretty good but his passes aren't good. Often Weir is all over the play, throwing big hits and playing his heart
out.
{NHL COMPARISON: JAROME IGINLA}
Last years stats: 24 goals and 20 assists for a total of 44 points!
