he is but domi is only an 82 and hogdson is an 87. domi will ask for much less. think of it this way
82 + 2 + 1 = 85 (booster picks)
85 + 1st = 87

TBH, I really don't see the point in this other than the picks. if I negotiate Domi to a contract at about -/+ 3m next season it'll be a huge success as I'd have to pay Hodgson 6 or 7... if he wouldn't opt to test the market, while Domi is controlled by his RFA status. I'm dumping Hodgson as there is no way this club could keep him as well as Turris as well as Malkin as well as Pominville as well as Doughty as well as Moulson etc... too many big contracts spoils the broth. Domi will be controllable for x amount of time while I keep the rest of my roster in tact. |

Exactly. Trades like this shouldn't get rejected, which is why I was pissed that mine didn't go through which was essentially the exact same deal as this one. That's why I thought it would be a contadiction to accept this one and not mine.
