A guy retiring soon, for a guy that will be as good as him?? not sure about this one...

this gives TBL better D so that they can make a better run for the cup, and gives me a great start to my rebuild

I accept.
Hedman is a few seasons away from being what Pronger is. I've also got other young defensemen in Johnson and Phaneuf. This gives me a true #1 to anchor my defense.

reject, pronger is just too old and hedman is so young plus your getting rid of schroeder and greening.

I reject too. Pronger is probably retiring next season. He probably will retire IRL as well

but he is making a run for the cup and pronger will be a key part in getting them there

i dont get why that matters, its not about the players themselves, its about benefiting your team.... pronger would be a better fit in tampa right now cause they are going to try and make a run for the cup, and hedman is a better fit on my team cause he would be a key guy to rebuild my team around

I'll accept is tampa tosses in conditional picks, eg Sharks get 2015 1st is Pronger retires this offseason

If this was Pronger for Hedman straight up you guys would all complain there was too big a difference in the overalls. You can't take Prongers real life health into this. This is a sim league. He's 37. He could easily play 3 more seasons.

In this sim league he's 38-39. by the end of next season he'll be 39-40. He'll be retiring for sure

Can we just reject this then? We'll try to work something else out.
