Look at www.hockeyscap.com/ to find the salaries of all players.
If it says UFA 2017/18 that means he is a free agent in 2017 for example.
Salary Cap
Season 1
Salary Cap: $71,400,000
Salary Cap Floor: $52,400,000
MINIMUM WAGE: $500,000 (0.500M)
MAXIMUM WAGE: $12,000,000 (12.000M)
ROOKIE MAX: $925,000 (0.925M)
EVERYONE PLEASE TAKE TIME TO POST YOUR CAP HIT SOMEWHERE IN YOUR TEAM'S THREAD, OR UNDER YOUR ROSTER. THIS MAKES IT EASIER TO TRACK, AND MAKES IT EASIER FOR YOURSELF, AS WELL AS THE SIMMER.
Paying Salary Cap
- Teams can pay a maximum of 3 players' cap hits during the season and a maximum of $10,,000,000
- Teams can have a maximum of 3 players' cap hits paid during the season and maximum of $10,000,000 paid for
- When paying a players cap, length and amount must be specified. If a player's cap whose is being paid for by another team is traded, if there was no prior agreement made, then the amount of cap paid is void once that player is traded.
Altering Contracts
The league is taking a zero tolerance stance on altering player contracts. If you have signed or traded for a player that has a certain contract type, duration, trade clause or salary you are bound to that contract. Some consideration might be given to a GM that has inherited a roster and there is a possibility the previous GM had been too lazy or ignorant to correctly post a certain contract.
Our mods and admins are very keen to catching these acts and if you are caught with a high-likelihood of intent, you will be banned without question. None of us want to get into policing others' rosters, salaries or players. If you can't be trusted to appropriately run your team, you are gone.
Because of this, any alterations, corrections or addendums to trades will have to be completely re-posted and a GM should not edit a trade post. If required, only Admin or PR can edit a trade after it is posted.
Waivers and trades are how you will rid yourself of any unwanted contracts.
