MLU Season 20

The player must be:

- Under 30 years old (so 29 and 364 days old MAX).
- Maximum upgrade rating of 80 overall (83 for a goalie). (So a player can be upgraded to 80. An 80 overall player is not eligible for MLU)
- Maximum games played in the NHL in the previous season is 30(Playoff games are not included.).
- You are allowed a minimum of 1 player and a max 3 players to upgrade.
-Players under 73 overall can be upgraded to 76 with a +2. We'll call it +2SB. (ex. Joe Morrow 66 +2SB =76)
-Drafted Players in this league must be 70 overall or over to be eligible for superboost. So if a player is 68, you must first +2 him, then +2SB him.

That's a terrible rule. Nobody in their right mind would waste 11 boosters on a guy to get him to 80. I guess he'll just rot away as a 69 forever. I hope the simmer didn't waste his time building any of these useless monkeys.

we have it so 2nd and 3rd arent useless. otherwise a team could just trade their boosters, draft a68 and mlu him to 76 next year. if he used his boosters and made him a 71, he would still be a 76. but i do see that it makes lower picks worthless as well. its something to revisit in the offseason

Yeah, that's a good point. Either way, something gets wasted. Maybe it's time to drop boosters from these leagues and just have 1sts, with rookies having a set rating. In some ways that would kinda suck, but it would be more realistic I guess... and keep the 25-30 overall dudes at a reasonable rating to do something with. Now I have to upgrade a jobber instead of getting the Pu man into the NHL. Bummed to the max!! lol

yeah but no boosters kind of crashes the market for smaller trades. im thinking of changing it so drafted players get mlu to 74
