I didn't know my team was from Minnesota...
Anyways, yes, the era of Pekka is gone. It's unfortunate of what happened to him in the season and a half he's been here, just riddled with injuries. I think a new change of scenery is needed for him to succeed, which is why I made this trade.
What also helps me is the little bit of cap space I free up, so I can re-sign some big name talent back for the following seasons. The pick is incentive if we bomb even worse with this lineup. Hopefully not, though.
On behalf of the Nashville Predators Organization, I accept this trade.

In a sense, I completely agree. But, here's the god to honest truth about it. I would have needed to re-sign both Hamhuis and Forsberg, which would cause me to go over the cap. Getting this trade frees up space so I can afford Forsberg in the re-sign. Plus, it's a high risk trade for my team, which has been a very disappointing season thus far. It gets me a younger winger to work with, a defenseman for a longer term deal, and a goalie that hopefully won't get injured. It's one of those trades that, I believe, needed to happen. Sure, I'm man handled in this deal, but in an essence, I feel I got the minor win in acquiring a younger goalie and a much younger top line scorer. |

There's always one good goalie that gets injured a lot in NHL 15 when simming through season mode. I think this league is Rinne (I mean, come on. 8 injuries in a season and a half), and Beastmode's is Fleury. |

There's always one good goalie that gets injured a lot in NHL 15 when simming through season mode.
