Yes, we'll admit it... the previous management regime fucked up... not only in trading Dubie, but trading him for so cheap. He's a monster... he's our monster... and we want him back in Oil Country. Now, we realize that he'd be coming back into a 1b senario here, hence the inflated "back up" salary, but he's worth every penny and having our goaltending tandem of Scrivens/Dubnyk moving forward will make it abundantly easier to give both of them the ice time they deserve and likely more ice time for Dubie than he'd get anywhere else cuz we'll have no hesitation in flipping our starters through out the season in this case.
We hope this is suitable and look forward to welcoming Dubie back to Oil Country, where he belongs...
