Finds this offer to be very acceptable, they are very sad to see Yandle go, but felt they needed a change of face from unsuccessfully being a winning team. It was nice of them to not lose any overalls with Green, and add some serious toughness to their lineup with Downie.

TBH I don't think that Downie makes up for the production difference between Green and Yandle.

go check on ironman. Over there Yandle had 40pts and 26pts the past 2 seasons. Green has had 28pts and 30pts the past 2 years. Downie has had 26pts and 24pts the past 2 seasons.

Downie more than makes up for the production difference between Yandle and Green.

If you're going to base trades on personal feelings with GM's, you're doing your job wrong.

I'm not holding a fucking grudge. The biggest reason why I can see Flyers trading an 85 and an 82 for an 85 is because the 85 that he is getting in return has better production than both of the players that he is giving away. But whatever if you want me to accept without that knowledge then whatever.

yes there is a production difference, of 10 points. I had green for 2 seasons, he's a 30 point defensemen. Yandle is a 40 point defensemen. A productive 3rd liner like downie more than makes up for 10 points

I just needed to lose cap really. I'm over the cap. Plus I believe in overpaying to get a guy from a NON-GM team, less controversy
