It was part of the deal when I got Fleury. We're gonna buy him out. Don't expect to trade him and expect him to play a backup or get traded right away either. PR said he wouldn't play as a backup or be used as trade bait for a team that won't play him. He wants to be a starter somewhere

Miller was angry that the Flyers went and signed Fleury after the year Miller had.
He requested a buyout because of this.
If any teams claim him, he will NOT report to training camp. He wants to go to FA and look at his options.

So what if someone claims him, he just sits out the whole year not counting against you cap. Tempting to claim that way nobody in the west can sign him.
